We were invited to create in situ art at Butcher's Lab, a combined "gym and gallery" in Copenhagen. We decided to create artwork during a one week on-site workshop, without having prepared anything in advance. Feeling overwhelmed by the very intense approach to exercise, this seemed the most appropriate solution: to write ironic statements about exercise on the wall. The result became a series of quotes painted directly on the walls of the training rooms. Created with the help of illustrator Jody Barton.
